Step One: Intake Session
An intake is a ninety (90)-minute session that provides the framework for our time together.
In this session, we will gather your demographic information, biological history, medical history, medication history, developmental history, mental health history, family history, school, social, and work history.
Step Two: Treatment Planning
A treatment plan is an individualized document that outlines the proposed interventions and goals we will target in your therapy session.
A treatment planning session is fifty five (55) minutes. Treatment planning can range from one to three (1 to 3) individual sessions.
Treatment plans are designed to be time specific. Meaning, we review them every six to twelve (6-12) months.
We review your plan to ensure you are on track to meeting your mental health goals.
Step Three: Individual Therapy Sessions
We offer forty (40) and fifty (55) minute individual therapy sessions.
During these sessions, we use a variety of modalities to help you reach your goals outlined in your treatment plan.
Individual therapy sessions typically occur weekly or bi-weekly.
Step Four: Reassessment or Discharge
Once we have worked through the duration of the treatment plan we will reassess your progress.
At this point, we will continue to work towards your current goals, change your goals, or discharge, if your treatment goals have been met.
